Background

To showcase my animation skills and creative approach to brand storytelling, I developed a playful marketing piece for FoxyHome, a property rental platform. This was not a client request — I created it proactively to demonstrate how animation can enhance brand engagement on social media.

Objective

Design and animate a short, eye-catching video featuring FoxyHome’s fox mascot integrated into a property image, adding personality and memorability to a standard rental listing.

My Role

• Created a custom vector illustration of a fox mascot.

• Animated the fox running across a garden and leaping out of frame.

• Integrated the fox animation with an image of an apartment building available for rent.

Process

1. Idea Generation: Conceptualised a mascot-based animation to bring property listings to life.

2. Illustration: Designed the fox in Adobe Illustrator for clean vector lines.

3. Animation: Used Adobe After Effects to animate a realistic run-and-jump sequence.

4. Integration: Matched lighting, perspective, and colors for seamless compositing.
